WILMINGTON, MA- AMETEK Aerospace & Defense specially developed a combined total temperature/ total pressure probe (T2P2) with pressure transducer for the new FJ44-3 turbofan engine from Williams International.
T2P2 probe is certified for temperatures ranging from -85oC to 125oC, vibration to 8000Hz and the latest icing condition requirements. It internal temperature sensor die is lighter, more reliable and more responsive than old-fashion wire wound types.

“The FJ44-3 utilizes the new full authority digital electronic control that provides pilots with advanced engine diagnostics and monitoring. It is the first FAA-certified engine of less than 6400 pounds thrust to incorporate a dual channel FADEC and the smallest and lightest turbofan engine in the world to have passed all of the rigorous FAAA certification tests,” he adds.
